[1][无常, wúcháng] has a double meaning. It is a Buddhist term signifying the fluidity and transitory nature of existence. Simultaneously, it is a reference to the Heibai Wuchang (Black and White Guards of Impermanence)—deities in Chinese mythology who come to collect the souls of the dead.
[2]Fragrant speech — [鸟语花香, niǎo yǔ huā xiāng] literally means "birdsong and floral fragrance," describing an idyllic spring scene. Here, Three-K uses it sarcastically to refer to his companion's choice profanity.
